True Confessions: Who REALLY Writes "My" Books

Who really writes "my" books?

Well, I do, of course.  But not by myself.

And I find it difficult sometimes to explain this when people tell me they like my books.  It's not that I don't want to give credit to my co-author.  It's more like words fail me when I try to describe the assistance I receive.  So, to keep things simple, I often just say, "Thanks," when someone tells me they enjoy my writing, because I appreciate SO much that they've taken the time to read the book(s) and then further encourage me with their complimentary words.

But, inside, there's so much more I want to say!  I'm, therefore, taking a few moments to publicly introduce you to my co-author, whom you may or may not already know.  Please meet . . . Jesus!

He INSPIRES me so much!  Now, before you get the wrong idea, I'm not at all equating, or even remotely trying to compare, my writing to the inspired Word of God.  That writing process is a mystery that surpasses my comprehension.  And it was entirely complete a long time ago.

But He's the One who fills my heart and mind with stories that need to be told.  He's the One who encourages me to offer true hope to the precious readers of my books.  It's He who has kept me from ever experiencing prolonged writer's block, because He has sweetly whispered the words I've needed into my consciousness, without making a sound.  It's Him I see when I read my own published book for the first time and think, "I couldn't have thought that up on my own.  Thank You, Lord!"

Do you know Him?  He's amazing, to say the least!

Since I don't have the time or space to quote the entire Bible here, this video is one of the best descriptions of  my co-author, if He indeed can be described.

Just wanted you to know!
