I was an avid reader as a kid--all kinds of books, but Nancy Drew was my favorite. I even pretended I was Nancy sometimes, solving the most perplexing of mysteries.
When I became a teenager, though, it was hard to find quality, modern books with characters I could relate to, without having to subject myself to inappropriate, trashy details. With some exceptions, I had to choose to either not read at all; read watered-down stories that didn't seem plausible; or read compelling stories that included unnecessary, awkward details. I chose each of all three options at different points during my teenage years.
There's a need out there for more engaging stories that adults will enjoy and feel confident sharing with the teens in their lives, and vice versa.
My desire is to provide teens and adults with plausible, down-to-earth stories, which have not been watered down, yet do not contain inappropriate, trashy details. I want all my readers to be able to get lost in a story for awhile, without worrying about whether or not they'll end up feeling like they shouldn't have read certain parts.
If you want to support what I'm doing, there are a few easy things you can do:
1. "Like" and "Share" my Facebook page.
2. "Like" and "Share" any posts or ads from my page.
3. Tell your friends about my books and direct them to my Amazon page.
4. Rate and Review my books on Amazon. This is more helpful than you know. Even if you don't like what you've read--I can learn from that!
5. If you're the praying sort, please add me to your list! :)
Thank you! You're awesome, and I can't do this without you!
